New Transformers: The Last Knight Video Features Incredible High-Speed Stunts

The Transformers series might feature some of the most advanced movie CGI ever seen, but director Michael Bay also knows how to deliver jaw-dropping real-life stunts. The latest behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight shows Bay orchestrating an amazing high-speed chase, captured on film by low-flying helicopters. Check it out below:

This clip follows a variety of other videos and pictures posted from the production in recent weeks. In June, Bay revealed the latest member of the robotic cast, an Autobot called Squeeks, which followed the new looks given to fan favourites Bumblebee and Barricade. Earlier this month, an image of a spectacular explosion was posted, as well as a clip of star Isabela Moner surfing down the inside of a crashed subway car.

Transformers: The Last Knight will be released in June 2017. Mark Wahlberg returns from 2014's Transformers: Age of Extinction, and will be joined by Josh Duhamel and Anthony Hopkins.

Paramount will be releasing a new Transformers movie every year until at least 2019. The studio has announced the release dates for the next three movies: Transformers 6 is scheduled to debut on June 8, 2018, and Transformers 7 will follow on June 28, 2019.

In January, Bay confirmed that although he was returning to the director's chair for The Last Knight, it will be his final movie in the series. "I still have a great time," he told Rolling Stone. "It's fun to do a movie that 100 million people will see. But this is the last one. I have to pass the reins to someone else. It's time to move on. One more."
