In attesa della pubblicazione di Yooka-Laylee su PC e console, i ragazzi di Playtonic Games hanno rilasciato una prima patch del gioco. Tra i miglioramenti apportati dalla suddetta patch c'è la gestione della telecamera che, stando a quanto decretato dalle prime recensioni, è un punto debole del gameplay. Tutti coloro che hanno finanziato il progetto attraverso le pagine di Kickstarter riceveranno a breve la loro copia digitale e potranno scaricare la patch in questione, mentre tutti gli altri dovranno attendere l'uscita di Yooka-Laylee fissata per l'11 aprile.
