Hollow Knight Switch Release Date News Coming This Week

Though it won't be at the Nindies presentation today, an update is coming soon.

Hollow Knight Gods and Glory

Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight saw a strong level of success last year – especially considering its budget and the size of its development team. However, the Metroidvania-esque adventure is truly an underappreciated gem that should be experienced by everyone. Which is why Nintendo Switch owners have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on the bug-filled-but-in-a-good-way title.

Though Team Cherry will not have Hollow Knight featured in today’s Nindies presentation, it did offer some hope. There will be an update on the progress of the Switch version and a release date later this week. Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean a release date will be confirmed. It could just be that the developer narrows it down further.

Regardless, we can’t wait. Hollow Knight has received three free DLC since launch – Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe and Gods & Glory. These are all expected to be available for the Nintendo Switch version when it launches. We can probably expect Gods & Glory, the third DLC, to be available for PC at the same time.
