Today, during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals Bandai Namco gave fans their first look at an upcoming Dragon Ball Z Action RPG. The title was revealed nearly two weeks ago as Project Z, but we were given little to no information about the game. You can check out the first trailer down below as well as some screenshots.

The trailer starts by showing Goku and Piccolo firing blasts at each other. From there, we see what looks to be some cutscenes showcasing iconic moments from the Saiyan Saga and Frieza Saga. As to how far into the Dragon Ball Z storyline this game will go, we do not know. Additionally, we do see some brief clips of Goku walking around different locations from the manga and anime, no fighting is shown so it'll be interesting to see what that looks like. The game is being developed by CyberConnect2, the folks behind the fantastic Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series.

Before the World Tour Finals, Bandai Namco gave us our first look at some in-game character models of both Goku and Gohan in the earliest part of the Saiyan Saga. Additionally, some of the characters that'll be included in the second season pass for Dragon Ball FighterZ were leaked a few hours ago.

Right now, the game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We still do not have an official name for the game so we'll be sure to update you once more is revealed.
