Here's Exactly When Rainbow Six Siege's Servers Go Live
Ubisoft has confirmed exactly when team-based shooter Rainbow Six Siege's servers will go live. Writing on Twitter, Ubisoft announced that PC, Xbox One, and PS4 servers will be switched on at 12:01 AM EST on December 1.
This is in part why GameSpot is holding its review.
"Because the experience revolves primarily around online multiplayer--which, at first, will be locked behind a progression wall--GameSpot will be holding its review until we've had a chance to test server stability, evaluate the progression system, and gauge just how successfully Siege teaches players to embrace its team-focused setup," editor Scott Butterworth said. "Even after spending eight solid hours with a final, pre-release build of the game, any of these untested factors could still impact Siege's score."

Siege launches December 1 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. It has the potential to become Ubisoft's best-selling FPS ever, even outpacing Far Cry 4.
