Firewatch: The In-Game Camera's Photos Can Be Physically Developed

Firewatch comes out tomorrow, but it's already been revealed that a disposable camera you find in the PC version can be physically developed. The feature is not available on PlayStation 4.

The in-game camera is found in the forest and can be used to take pictures (via TechnoBuffalo). Once you're finished the game, you'll receive a link that will take you to a website to buy prints of the photos.

When you find the camera there are already pictures taken with it, and those get developed as well. As the game is set in 1989 and the camera is disposable, it sounds like this is the only way you'll be able to see these pictures. You can take a look at some of the developed photos over at TechnoBuffalo.

The prints will cost money, though it's not clear what the final price will be as TechnoBuffalo notes that the cost before the game's official release was "heavily discounted."

Firewatch received a score of 7 in GameSpot's review, which said "its world is captivating, its design is clever, and its characters are among the most well-written in gaming."
