Look at All These New Halo Toys

As part of this week's New York Toy Fair, Microsoft announced it has signed a "master licensing agreement" with Mattel for a series of new Halo toys. This isn't the first time Microsoft and Mattel have worked together, however, as there is already a line of Halo Mega Bloks. But the new partnership will lead to even more toys and should help elevate the profile of Halo consumer products overall, according to Microsoft.

"Partnering with Mattel not only expands visibility for Halo products in retailers worldwide, it unifies the design, development, and creative vision of an important branch of Halo consumer products," Microsoft said in a blog post today.

Some Halo physical toys are even finding their way into Halo games, as virtual versions of the real-world Boomco Assault Rifle Blaster and Magnum Blaster were added to Halo 5: Guardians through its Infinity's Armory update in January.

The new Halo 2016 toy line will include things like more Mega Bloks sets, a motion-activated Energy Sword, new action figures, and radio-controlled vehicles, among other things. They are on display at the New York Toy Fair this weekend, and you can also see them in the galleries embedded above and below.

Additionally, a full rundown of toys and price points is available here on Xbox Wire.

Microsoft also said today that Halo consumer products, including toys, clothing, and other things, have generated more than $1.5 billion to date.
