Telltale shows off the first six minutes of The Walking Dead: Michonne

Telltale has released a video of the opening of their new Walking Dead miniseries.

The video doesn't showcase any of the difficult choices that Telltale is renowned for, but does offer a glimpse into Michonne's bleak state of mind.

The Walking Dead: Michonne will feature three episodes instead of the usual five, and is being classified as a ‘miniseries'. The first episode, In Too Deep, is due February 23 (February 25 for Android and iOS devices). Episodes 2 and 3 will launch in March and April respectively.

The game should fill some gaps for comic fans – it's set between issues #126 and #139, during which Michonne was absent. But even beyond that absence, Michonne has always been a mysterious figure, and readers have speculated on her past. It's possible that the game will shed some further light on the character.

The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 have sold over 50 million copies worldwide.
