GTA 5 Online's Next Event Announced, Detailed

Rockstar Games has launched a new event for Grand Theft Auto V's multiplayer mode GTA Online. Now through Wednesday, February 24, players can earn double the amount of GTA$ and RP when they complete special "Contact Missions." The first, available today, sees players taking on a job from Simeon.

There are other bonuses up for grabs as well, while on February 25, all Contact Missions will yield double $GTA and RP. Below is a full rundown of the missions and extra offers.

Friday Feb 19: Double GTA$ & RP on all of Simeon's Contact Missions plus Double GTA$ on Simeon's Import/Export requests
Saturday Feb 20: Double GTA$ & RP on all of Ron's Contact Missions plus 50% off all Blazers
Sunday Feb 21: Double GTA$ & RP on all of Trevor's Contact Missions plus 50% off Jerry Cans
Monday Feb 22: Double GTA$ & RP on all of Martin's Contact Missions plus 10% off Stilt Houses
Tuesday Feb 23: Double GTA$ & RP on all of Lester's Contact Missions plus 25% off Lester Services
Wednesday Feb 24: Double GTA$ & RP on all of Gerald's Contact Missions plus 50% off Micro SMGs and Machine Pistols
Thursday Feb 25: Double GTA$ & RP on all Contact Missions in GTA Online
Additionally, Ammu-Nation is holding a sale. Now through February 25, you can save 50 percent on all rifle ammo and body armor, while grenades and sticky bombs are 25 percent off for the duration of the promotion.

In other news about GTA Online, the mode recently enjoyed its best week ever in terms of revenue and the number of people playing it. That could explain why GTA V single-player DLC is nowhere to be seen.
