Minecraft Wii U content update brings it up to speed with Xbox 360

Just a quick heads up: Minecraft has been updated on Wii U, bring it up-to-date with Xbox 360 update 33.

The notes for Update 3 are rather long, but highlights include new blocks, items, mobs, biomes, updates to many things such as villagers, fishing, enchanting and more.

There are quite a few changes and bug fixes as well, so be sure to give the notes a read.
