Here's When Hitman's Second Elusive Target Will Arrive

Square Enix has revealed Hitman's next Elusive Target, The Congressman, will arrive in the game on May 27.

As with the first target, The Congressman will vanish after a limited period and players will have one shot at assassinating him. Intel on The Congressman will be very limited and if Agent 47 dies during the mission it cannot be restarted. Similarly, if the mission timer runs out, the target will escape. There is no do-over for failure.

" will not appear in instinct mode, or the mini map and locations will not be revealed to you," Square Enix explained. "Elusive Targets are specially crafted, unique targets which are available in game for a limited time only."

The Congressman is only available to players that own the Sapienza episode, which was not included in the Intro Pack. Sapienza can be purchased on its own, or as part of an upgrade pack that will also grant access to further upcoming episodes.

On May 19, IO Interactive released some statistics about the first Elusive Target, Sergie Larin. According to the data, 53 percent of the attempted contracts resulted in Larin being eliminated and the player getting away safely. Among these, 9.9 percent achieved a Silent Assassin rating, which requires the player to kill only the target and hide the body without any witnesses.

A new Escalation mission called The Scorpio Directive was also recently added to the game. It is also set in Sapienza, where episode two of Hitman took place.

IO has said it'll share a release date for Episode Three: Marrakesh prior to E3 in June, and the episode itself will then be playable at the show next month.
