Overwatch blog post hints at possible new character
Blizzard may have dropped hints of a new character called Liao, who is said to be a member of the original Overwatch team.

A recently published in-universe blog, talks about the resurgence of Overwatch, their role as vigilantes, and what its various members have been up to. Soldier: 76, Reaper, Pharah's mother, Reinhardt, and Torbjörn are all here..

Curiously, the piece also makes mention of a character named Liao, who is supposedly one of the founding members of Overwatch. Some believe this is the game's next character, while others think he's connected to Mei-Ling, an existing character.

Since Blizzard has yet to flesh out the backstory for Mei, we can't say for sure. Whatever the case, it may be a while before we see new characters added to the game.

The game's first patch is due out in June, and it's bringing back ranked play.
