Sausage Party Red Band Trailer Shows How Food Gets Revenge on Humans

As part of Comic-Con, Sony has released a new red band trailer for the R-rated animated movie Sausage Party. While previous trailers have set up the story--grocery store products discover the horror of what happens when they go home--this one shows how they get revenge on their human enemies.

It's a red band trailer, so there is some colorful language and more. Take a look:

A sausage named Frank (voiced by Seth Rogen) leads the group of grocery store products. Rogen also wrote the movie alongside his Superbad and Pineapple Express collaborator Evan Goldberg.

The film features the voices of many funny people, including Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, David Krumholtz, Edward Norton, and Salma Hayek.

Sausage Party opens in theaters on August 12. It's directed by Conrad Vernon (Shrek 2) and Greg Tiernan (Thomas the Tank Engine).
