Coming to Minecraft in October: Chinese Mythology, polar bears, igloos and beetroot

New skins in fresh content pack, plus free update for console players.

The console editions of the Minecraft Chinese Mythology Mash-Up pack will arrive on October 4.

It includes 41 new skins, 13 new music tracks and a special map for the Battle Mini Game. You can catch the first screens below.

October 4 also sees the free release of a new update for console editions of Minecraft that adds polar bears, banners, beetroots, igloos, fossils and a bunch of new blocks: End Bricks, Grass Path, Frosted Ice, Magma, Nether Wart Block, Red Nether Brick and Bone Block.
