Forza Horizon 3's First Monthly DLC Out Now, Adds 7 Cars

The Australia-set racing game Forza Horizon 3 grows today with the launch of its first monthly DLC pack. Titled "The Smoking Tire Car Pack," the add-on introduces seven new cars to the Xbox One and PC game.

There is a good variety of cars in the pack, as it includes the 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade and the 2016 Vulcan "hypercar" from Aston Martin. You can see a list of all seven cars below, while pictures of them are in the gallery further down the page. The cars are also on display in the trailer immediately below.

The Smoking Tire Car Pack is the first Forza Horizon 3 car pack delivered through the game's $30 Car Pass. There will be six car packs in all, introducing a total of 42 cars when the DLC campaign wraps up in March 2017. Alternatively, you can buy the Smoking Tire Car Pack on its own for $7.

All of the cars in the Smoking Tire Car Pack are new to the entire Forza series, Microsoft said.

The Smoking Tire Car Pack Includes:
2016 Aston Martin Vulcan
2000 Lotus 340R
2016 Pagani Huayra BC
2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
2016 GTA Spano
2016 BMW M2 Coupé
1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade
Forza Horizon 3's Car Pass DLC is not the only add-on content coming to the game. Microsoft recently announced a $35 season pass that comes with two expansions, the first of which will be out this year.

Additionally, the game's $100 Ultimate Edition contains a series of extras, like the Motorsports All-Stars Car Pack and a VIP membership, which sell for $10 and $20 respectively on their own.

Forza Horizon 3 launched on September 27 for Xbox One and PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. GameSpot's Forza Horizon 3 review scored the game a 9/10. For more on the critical reaction to the racing game, check out this roundup of scores and opinions.
