Watch new footage of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild from The Game Awards here

Nintendo has shown off The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during The Game Awards preshow.

Above is the first of two trailers for the next Zelda. More footage will be shown during the awards.

The last new footage of the new Zelda was released a month ago, ahead of the Switch reveal.

We recently learned that Breath of the Wild is unlikely to launch alongside the Switch, so we'll be waiting a bit longer yet. The game is also still coming to the Wii U – it will likely be the last big game to do so.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is due for release at some point in 2017.
