Street Fighter 5 2017 Character Pass kicks off with Akuma later this month – see him in action

Street Fighter 5 fans jonesing for someone new to beat each other up with need look no further.

The Street Fighter 5 2017 Character Pass will launch on December 20 and is now up for pre-order, Capcom has announced.

The new DLC season pass will set you back $30/€30/£25 and comes six characters, starting with Akuma. The next five characters will be all-new to the Street Fighter universe, apparently.

The pass also gives you a stack of premium battle costumes with seven colour variants unlocked, and seven unlocked default costume colours for each new character. For PS4 players, it comes with an exclusive Street Fighter 5 theme.
