Next Injustice 2 Characters Revealed

NetherRealm will announce the next character for fighting game Injustice 2 today, the studio has announced. An image posted on the game's website (below) confirms this, though it offers no other details about who the character might be.

GameSpot will report back later today with the identity of the character when he or she is revealed.

In other news, NetherRealm told fans that they should follow the studio's Instagram to see some "awesome exclusive content," though this may not necessarily be tied to new character reveals.

The latest confirmed character for Injustice 2 was Doctor Fate, a newcomer to the franchise. Some of the other confirmed playable characters for Injustice 2 so far include Swamp Thing, Batman, Blue Beetle, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman, Robin, Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Black Canary, and Atrocitus.

Injustice 2 launches for PS4 and Xbox One on May 16. In other news, an Injustice 2 mobile game has been announced, while a new trailer shows Superman and Batman duking it out.
