Need for Speed PS4/Xbox One Closed Beta Codes Going Out Now

Electronic Arts is now sending out codes for the Need for Speed closed beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the company has announced on Twitter. If you got in, you'll find a code in your email inbox.

Developer Ghost Games said previously that the purpose of the closed beta, which isn't being held on PC, is to help the studio "perform a number of technical tests that will help the team" get ready for launch. People who get into the beta are not allowed to capture or share gameplay.

The full terms of the agreement you must sign are available here. According to a NeoGAF member, the beta's file size is 19 GB.

The Need for Speed release date for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is set for November 3, while the PC edition has been delayed to 2016. In other recent news, Ghost Games has revealed the game's complete achievement/trophy list. You can also learn more about Need for Speed's five ways to play.
