One-armed warrior kicks two-legged butts in Severed trailer

Severed is about a woman who has her arm chopped off and decides to share the experience around some of her pals, who are terrible horrible monsters.

Hailing from DrinkBox Studios, the team behind the wonderful Guacamelee, Severed seems like a really good reason to dust off your Vita.

It sort of looks like a mash up of turn-based dungeon crawlers like Legend of Grimrock and clever touch-based games like Infinity Blade, only someone ran it through through “Samurai Jack” filter in PhotoShop*. And then also added in a limb-severing system because, well, it's right there in the title.

It's going to be playable at the PlayStation Experience this weekend, ahead of its release in – oh. It says here “summer 2015″. Well, perhaps we'll get an update at the show, hmm?

*Not a real thing, unfortunately.
