New XCOM 2 screens show off shanty towns

Firaxis gives everyone a look at one new environment that'll be available in XCOM 2.

After showing how the suburbs look, and the wild and overgrown parts of the world of the game, Firaxis has revealed one more of XCOM 2 locations, the slums.

These shanty towns, as the developer calls them, are away from densely-populated areas of the world, but are similarly under the constant threat of attacks.

These ramshackle places are one of the areas that make up the game's world. See it in new screens below.

XCOM 2 is out February 5 on PC.
