Cyberpunk 2077 Featured on The Witcher 3 Dev's Holiday Card
With Christmas now just a few days away, The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red has released a holiday-themed digital card. Published on Twitter by a marketing executive at the company, the animated card features Geralt from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and a Cyberpunk 2077 character taking a selfie. Both characters have Gwent cards on their foreheads and look to be having a fun time. Take a look at the card below.
An animated version of the card is available on Twitter.
The presence of Cyberpunk 2077 on the card is interesting. CD Projekt Red hasn't said much about the game to date, so possibly it means more information is coming in the New Year.
There have been conflicting reports about when Cyberpunk 2077 will launch. One said the role-playing game, developed with the help of Mike Pondsmith, is not coming until 2017 at the earliest; another, more recent report claimed the title may launch at the end of 2016.
Cyberpunk 2077 was first announced in October 2012.
CD Projekt Red isn't done with The Witcher 3, however, as the Polish studio continues to work on game updates and the title's final paid expansion, Blood and Wine. It arrives in the first half of 2016.
