The Division – no player trading at launch

Item trading among players is not something we'll be able to at launch in The Division.

Ubisoft Massive has confirmed that The Division won't feature any form of item trading among players on launch, citing a prioritization issue.

“It's the reality of production. Some features make it, some features don't,” associate creative director Julian Gerighty told GamesRadar.

Gerighty added the feature is something some people are “very passionate about” and although it won't be there on launch, “it'll maybe make an appearance in the future.”

It was confirmed earlier the game's map includes only the Manhattan borough on launch, despite earlier footage showing Brooklyn.
