The new Gears of War 4 trailer has dropped and it looks marvellous.

Haunting cover song? Check. Lonesome sod getting chased down like a dog? Check. The new Gears of War 4 trailer ticks all the boxes and looks mighty fine while doing it.

Marcus Fenix's little baby is all grown-up and having a horrendous time visiting the family homestead in the first trailer for the title.

Last week we got confirmation that Gears of War 4 would bring back the split-screen feature which is good news for those of you who like to get your fill of couch co-op.

The Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta kicks off on April 18 for those with early access, and goes open on April 24. The game drops on October 11 for Xbox One.
