For Honor Single-Player Revealed for First Time at E3 2016
Publisher Ubisoft has for the first time shed light on the single-player component of its online-centric hack-and-slash action title For Honor.
The game's story appears to be centred around a character called Apoleon, a Svengali-like figure who appears to have stirred wars between vikings, knights and samurais for more than a thousand years.
The gameplay video showcased a fleet of viking ships invading a samurai fortress, ploughing through its warriors and scorching the settlements.
The trailer and gameplay demo videos can be found below:
Ubisoft showcased the campaign mode at its pre-E3 press conference at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles.
In terms of mechanics, the set-up is similar to the multiplayer component showcased at E3 2015, where players have three positions to hold their weapons for both attacking and defending.
