Gears of War 4 season pass Gear Packs replaced with 17-pack “sample platter”

The Gears of War 4 season pass is pretty pricey at £39.99 So it's good news to those who are investing in it to find out that they'll be getting more for their moolah with the new 17-pack Starter Air Drop.

Described by Rod Fergusson as a “sample platter” the Starter Airdrop will replace the previous six Gears Pack and contains 85 cards. It includes:

5 Horde Boosters
5 Versus Boosters
5 Operations Packs
2 Elite Packs

All season pass offers will start getting updated to reflect the change soon.

Gears of War 4 will be released on October 11.
