Dark Souls 3 Ashes of Ariandel guide and walkthrough: return to the Painted World
Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel may as well be called “more Dark Souls 3”. You already know how to feel about that.
Did you wish Dark Souls 3 would never end? With the new Ashes of Ariandel DLC you can extend the experience a little longer, as it throws you right back into heart-in-mouth dungeon crawling.
Dark Souls is a game of trial and error but as usual we're here to do the work of dying hundreds of times for you. Our walkthrough will hold your hand from first installation right through to lopping the head off the final boss and wearing it as a fetching hat.
We hope to soon have all the info you're after on new PvP activities and more, but for now let's start with a few essential resources before we kick off the PvE Ashes of Ariandel walkthrough.
Dark Souls 3 guide and walkthrough
Although the difficulty isn't markedly higher, Ashes of Ariandel is intended for experienced players who have seen most of what the core game has to offer, so if you're firing Dark Souls 3 up for the first time, please get started with the core walkthrough. You won't be ready for this for quite some time.
Dark Souls 3 Cheeseburger Assassin build
Our Dark Souls 3 walkthroughs are aimed at nervous sensibly cautious players. As such, we do a lot of sneaking, sniping and running away. Our Ashes of Ariandel guide was written utilising this famously cowardly build. Embrace it; it's an easy spec.
Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel Walkthrough
This is what you came for. We assume you're about level 80 and know how to play Dark Souls 3, at least at the level of cheesy proficiency we champion.
How to start the Ashes of Ariandel DLC
Snowfield to Rope Bridge Cave
Rope Bridge Cave to Corvian Settlement
Corvian Settlement to Snowy Mountain Pass
More coming soon.
We didn't have early access to Ashes of Ariandel so pages will be rolling out as we plod through them. Keep it locked here for updates as they arrive.
