Netflix January 2017: Everything Coming and Going

Netflix today announced everything that is coming to and leaving the streaming site for January 2017.

You can ring in the New Year with movies like Braveheart, Caddyshack, Superman 1-4, and The Shining, as all of those movies debut on January 1. Season 11 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia arrives on January 3, followed by this year's Ratchet & Clank on January 9. That's not the only video game movie coming to Netflix in January, as Halo Legends arrives on January 1.

Netflix originals premiering in January include the first season of A Series of Unfortunate Events (January 13) and the newest standup comedy specials from Jim Gaffigan (January 10) and Bill Burr (January 31).

A lot of great TV shows and movies are leaving Netflix in January. Nine 30 for 30 documentaries on the way out on January 1, including Requiem for the Big East and The Price of Gold. Other content leaving on January 1 includes Season 1-7 of Columbo, the Oscar winning drama Crash, The Fast and the Furious, Saving Private Ryan, and Dazed and Confused.
