Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown reveals its E3 2017 trailer

Ace Combat 7's skies are a little more known, thanks to this new trailer.

Fans of Ace Combat's arial combat series were undoubtedly disappointed when its release date was pushed back a year. Still, while Project ACES uses the time to optimize the experience, we can salivate over new trailers showing us what to expect.

Ace Combat is a combat flight simulator series, portraying a series of fictional conflicts loosely based on real-life wars. Skies Unknown will be no different, following characters from pilots to a ruling monarch as they respond to a war threating mass destruction of cities.

Ace Combat 7 is also notable for its focus on PlayStation VR, even though it will have PC and Xbox One releases. The finished game will also offer two-player local multiplayer as a major feature.

The game is due to launch sometime in 2018.
