Destiny 2 weekly reset for September 12 – Nightfall, Challenges, Flashpoint, Call to Arms and more detailed

Destiny 2 is a new game with new rules, but Tuesday is still reset day.

That's among the few things that aren't changing in Destiny 2. We may no longer have Prison of Elders or a featured raid to worry about, but we do have other things to do and rewards to chase that all reset on Tuesdays.

The Nightfall is among them, as is custom, and we also get Flashpoints – which require you to do a number of Public Events at a specific destination. When completed, you receive your rewards from Cayde-6, and they refresh every Tuesday like the Nightfall.

Under the Milestones banner, which includes both Flashpoints and the Nightfall, we also get Call to Arms. This is a weekly quest for PvP players in the Crucible that requires playing a set amount of games and so on. As with all Milestones, hold L2/LT to track your progress.

Weekly Nightfall

The Inverted Spire is the weekly strike with modifiers Prism, and Timewarp: Rings. You'll need to at least have 240 Power to get in. There are also three challenges active in Speed of Dark, Unbroken, and the Floor is Lava.

Prism rotates the elements of enemy shields periodically. When you match the element, you deal increased damage. If you don't, you'll do reduced damage. Rings is a variant of Timewarp. Timewarp allows you to increase the mission timer by performing certain tasks, seeing as all Nightfalls are now timed.

Rings makes Vex time gates appear in the strike. Passing through them extends the mission timer.

-Challenges

• Speed of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
• Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
• The Floor Is Lava: As a fireteam, do not get hit by Protheon's fiery ground attack before defeating it.
  

Strikes Challenges

If you complete three Challenges across the different strikes, including the Nightfall, you receive a reputation bundle.

Flashpoint

This week's destination is Nessus. Complete Public Events there to earn Powerful Gear. You should also make sure to pick up all five treasure maps from Cayde-6 before heading off.

These are account-wide, and they refresh every week. When you have them, you'll see ace of spades icons all over the map alerting you to the locations of secret chests. They can only be looted once per account.

Call to Arms

This week, you need to play any Crucible matches to earn Powerful Gear.
