Fortnite Battle Royale gets silenced pistol, new Sneaky Silencers limited-time mode

Fortnite Battle Royale is getting another themed event this weekend, alongside new content.

The new content comes in the form of a silenced pistol, available right now in Fortnite Battle Royale. It can be found in treasure chests or as in-world loot, in both Epic and Legendary rarities.

The silenced theme is interesting, because the game is getting a new, limited-time event called Sneaky Silencers. Scheduled for this weekend, the event limits your weapon options to silenced pistols and silenced SMGs.

To help on your stealthy quest, bush drop rates will be greatly increased, but you won't be able to use traps. The Sneaky Silencers mode will be available January 5-8 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
