New Fortnite Patch Coming Soon, But There Won't Be Downtime
A new update for Epic's popular shooter Fortnite: Battle Royale is coming soon. The latest patch, v.3.2.1, will be deployed on March 9, the developer announced on Twitter.
The patch will address "a few performance issues," but that's all Epic had to say in the way of specifics. The good news is that there won't be any downtime associated with this patch, which will presumably be applied to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

There is no word as of yet regarding when exactly the patch will go live, but that information should become clear soon. Epic updates Fortnite on a very regular basis, but sometimes the patches and maintenance require the servers to go down for a period of time.
Just today, Epic updated Fortnite to add the limited-time 20v20v20v20v20 mode. The Teams of 20 mode, as it's officially titled, pits five teams against each other, with each team containing-20 players. In addition, the update introduces a new skin, called Burnout.
In other Fortnite news, Epic today announced that the game is coming to mobile devices. Intriguingly, Epic says the mobile edition will offer the same 100-player battles as on PC and consoles. Also, there is cross-play support between PS4, PC, and mobile.
