Forza Horizon 2 will be taken off the Xbox Store soon

Microsoft has announced that Forza Horizon 2 will be removed from the Microsoft Store on October 1.

The company said that Forza Horizon 2 has reached its “end of life” status, and will no longer be available for sale after September 30. This also applies to its DLC.

Owners of Forza Horizon 2 will continue to be able download and play the game, as well as any add-on content, in the future without issue. If you don't already own it, the game is currently available for free through Games With Gold until September 15.

Now is a good time to complete your DLC collection, if you're interested. Forza Horizon 2 was released in September, 2014 on Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The original Forza Horizon was also removed four years after its release.

The next game in the series, Forza Horizon 4, launches October 2 on PC, and Xbox One.
