Prey is discounted to $20 right now, you should get that

Prey, otherwise known as one of the best horror games of 2017 – at least in this writer's opinion – is down to bargain basement pricing again. That is, at least for a limited time and when you use a code at checkout.

As a game, Prey manages to encapsulate a lot of what made the Bioshock series great – tension, narrative-focus, enivornment exploration that actually feels worthwhile – with its own unique take on sci-fi horror. It also manages to almost completely disavow any and all connection to the original Prey, which it is technically a remake of.

In order to actually get the aforementioned deal, you need just head over to NewEgg as soon as you can, add a copy of Prey on either Xbox One, PS4 or PC into your basket and enter the code EMCRKRE36 during checkout. That'll knock $40 off your total and get you the game for the cheapest price around.

For whatever it's worth, Prey has been one of my favourite games to come out this year and while it absolutely won't be everyone's kind of thing, it worked for me. At $20, it might just work for you too.
