Batman: Arkham Knight Getting Batman v Superman DLC and More

Rocksteady Games has announced the complete lineup of Batman: Arkham Knight DLC to be released through the end of the year, which includes new skins, missions, modes, and more. All of this is included with the $40 Arkham Knight DLC pass, though Rocksteady is also delivering some free updates for all.

October's expansions include new Batmobile tracks and character skins, as well as a series of AR challenges. There are no new modes or missions coming in October, however.

Looking ahead to November, next month's DLC includes the Batsuit and Batmobile featured in the 2016 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. November also sees the release of two new Arkham Episode missions, including Catwoman's Revenge and A Flip of a Coin. The three previously released Episodes were called A Matter of Family, Red Hood Story, and Harley Quinn Story. Rocksteady said they are all designed to be "short, narrative vignettes that give a sense of what has happened to each of these characters after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight."

In December, Arkham Knight adds Batman skins based on Christopher Nolan's 2008 movie, The Dark Knight, as well as the Original Arkham Batmobile for race mode and free roam. This model is based on the one seen in the 2009 original Batman: Arkham Asylum game, Rocksteady's first entry in the series.

December also sees the release of the Season of Infamy: Most Wanted story mode expansion.

"Mad Hatter is playing a sinister mind-game with Batman, and GCPD's finest are the pawns," reads a line from the official story synopsis. "Killer Croc has escaped from his maximum security cell and is wreaking havoc on a crashed airship. The League of Assassins has returned to Gotham City, but what is their motive and who is in charge? And Mister Freeze may be closer than ever to completing his life's work… but at what cost?"

According to a recent report, Arkham Knight has sold around 5 million copies since its release in June. The PC edition was plagued with problems at launch, but it should finally be made available again at the end of October.
