Destiny Xur update: should you buy Year 2 Thunderlord?

This week's Exotic weapon offering is Thunderlord. Is it a worthy addition to your collection?

The answer is Yes!

Our Destiny expert Alex says it's one of the best Exotic heavy weapons in the game. It does Arc damage, which will work very well whenever the Heroic or Nightfall strikes come with Arc burn.

The perks Feeding Frenzy, which increase your reload speed for a short time as you get kills, and Lightning Rounds, which makes it more accurate the longer you hold the trigger are both good.

On top of that, killing enemies has a chance to trigger a small explosion, just like Fate Bringer. The Year 2 version isn't all that different from Year 1, and the weapon remains good geat for PvE.
