Nelsan Ellis, star di True Blood, è morto a 39 anni
Nelsan Ellis, attore noto per il ruolo di Lafayette nella serie HBO True Blood, è morto ieri a 39 anni, in seguito ad un arresto cardiaco, come riportato dalla sua manager Emily Gerson Saines.
Ellis aveva avuto piccole parti in serie come Senza Traccia e Veronica Mars ed era stato uno dei protagonisti di The Inside, serie cancellata dopo soli 7 episodi. Ha raggiunto il successo con la parte di Lafayette Reynolds, un cuoco omosessuale e spacciatore di sangue di vampiri, in True Blood. Un ruolo talmente amato dal pubblico che il creatore della serie, Alan Ball, ha deciso di tenerlo per tutte e sette le stagioni, al contrario della serie di romanzi del Ciclo di Sookie Stackhouse di Charlaine Harris, da cui è tratta la serie, in cui viene ucciso quasi subito.
