Witcher 3's Biggest-Ever 1.10 Update Detailed, Includes 600 Changes

CD Projekt Red has officially revealed Patch 1.10 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and they weren't kidding when they said it would be "massive." The update represents the largest collection of fixes, improvements, and enhancements introduced to The Witcher 3 to date. There are 600 PC/console changes in all, which are spread across quests, stability, inventory management, and additional fan-requested romance options.

The 1.10 changelog does not even represent all of the changes coming to the game, community manager Marcin Momot said in a post on the game's forums. As for when the update will arrive, he said it is "right around the corner" and should land "in a matter of days." It's possible this update will come on or before October 13, which is the day The Witcher 3 adds its first paid expansion, Hearts of Stone.

GameSpot recently played a chunk of the expansion, which is expected to add around 10 hours of gameplay and you can read an excerpt from our preview below.

"Hearts of Stone is full of varied quests to follow, and striking characters to meet," editor Mike Mahardy wrote. "It's also well paced, a facet that's hard to come by in an open-world RPG, wherein players have every chance to venture off the beaten path."
