Vince un riconoscimento anche That Dragon, Cancer. L'edizione 2016 del Games for Change Festival ha annunciato i propri vincitori, e Life is Strange è stato grande protagonista, portandosi a casa i premi di Game of the Year, Most Significant Impact e People's Choice Award, imponendosi sugli altri titoli in concorso. Premiati anche Block'Hood (Best Gameplay), That Dragon, Cancer (Most Innovative) e DragonBox Numbers (Best Learing).
