The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition Listed Online
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition has been rated by a German classification board, suggesting a version of CD Projekt Red's RPG with all post-launch DLC will be available in the future.
The listing, which was discovered by Twitter user Lifelower, has been rated for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Neither developer CD Projekt Red nor publishers Bandai Namco and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have officially teased or announced a Game of the Year Edition yet.
GameSpot has contacted CD Projekt for a statement.
Since its launch in 2015, The Witcher 3 has been updated with two large expansion packs: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. The latter added a whole new region and featured 90 new quests, making up around 30 hours of gameplay.
CD Projekt co-founder, Marcin Iwinski said Blood and Wine is definitely the final chapter in The Witcher 3's story and the studio has no intention of making a new Witcher game for the foreseeable future.
Instead it is focusing on Cyberpunk 2077, which is scheduled to launch sometime in the 2017-2021 window. The studio doesn't expect to show more of it until for a while, however.
"Right now it's the end of talking about Cyberpunk until we can go out there and show stuff and say, 'Hey, here it is,' because that's how we do games, Iwinski said in May. "There is too much talking about what it possibly could be, and how big, and...
"When we show it, we should show it and explain it. So I'm going to have people not read anything about Cyberpunk probably for the next... time, whatever the time will be."
At E3 2016, CD Projekt announced Gwent, a standalone version of The Witcher 3's card collecting and battling game. It is scheduled for September, across Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
