Resident Evil 7 PC System Requirements Announced
While there's a lot we still don't know about Resident Evil 7, we do now have a list of system specs for those interested in playing it on PC.
Minimum and recommended specs have been added to its Steam page, albeit with a note that, with the game still in development, they are subject to change. As it stands, it's not an especially demanding game: you'll need only an i5-4460 or FX-6300 and a GTX 760 or R7 260x to run the game at 1080p and 30 FPS.
If you're looking to hit the recommended specs, you still won't need cutting-edge hardware. Capcom calls for an i7-3770 (or AMD equivalent) and a GTX 960 or R9 280X to play the game at 1080p and 60 FPS.
You can see the full specs lists below. Should Capcom make any changes as the game's January release approaches, we'll report back.
An updated version of Resident Evil 7's demo was recently released on the PlayStation Store. Like the first version, it's exclusive to PS4, although you no longer need to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber to access it.
