Ghost Recon: Wildlands score composed by Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures veteran

Ghost Recon: Wildlands draws on some pretty disparate musical influences.



Ghost Recon: Wildlands boasts a soundtrack from Alain Johannes, a musician and producer who has worked in or with Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Arctic Monkeys and the Desert Sessions, among many others.



The Chilean-American composer brought some South American influences and instruments to Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which is set in Bolivia. In the developer diary above, Johannes and various Ubisoft staff talk through the game's unique soundscape.



Ghost Recon: Wildlands releases in March for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This is the third trailer for it in a week, which suggests Ubisoft is finally getting serious about hyping us up for it.



If you've somehow missed all this, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a co-op optional open-world third-person tactical shooter. It has various persistent progression systems, vehicles and unscripted AI, which sounds like pretty hot stuff in the Ubisoft sandbox tradition.
