Former Rockstar North president trademarks new game title
In the midst of his legal battle with Rockstar, Leslie Benzies is working on a new title.
Leslie Benzies is still embroiled in a lawsuit with Rockstar since it kicked off last April, but he hasn't been waiting idly for that $150 million in alleged unpaid royalties.
The Scotsman has reported that Benzies has incorporated five new companies, with one focusing on VR and another developing video games for PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
VR-Chitect will produce VR headsets and software, while Royal Circus Games has already trademarked the title Time for a New World along with the hashtag #TFANW.
Royal Circus Technologies, Everywhere Game, Starship Group are the other three companies.
Benzies was the producer for the majority of the GTA titles as well as Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire, so it'll be interesting to see a potential new game from him and what that would look like now that he's broken away from Rockstar.
It's far too early to say, but let us know what you think in the comments below.
