iPhone in futuro avranno una nuova tecnologia per il Touch ID

L'analista Kuo Ming-Chi ha pubblicato nuovi dettagli interessanti per quanto riguarda i futuri iPhone. Secondo lui, l'azienda di Cupertino sta lavorando su una tecnologia Touch ID di nuova generazione, che modificherebbe la del Touch ID sotto il pannello del display, e non sotto il vetro.

La tecnologia è ancora ai primi sviluppi, ma permetterebbe ad Apple di progettare iPhone “zero Cornici”. Accanto alla nuova tecnologia Touch ID, Apple includerà anche una nuova tecnologia di identificazione biometrica che dovrebbe sostituire in futuro il sistema di riconoscimento delle impronte digitali.

Apple may switch to a film sensor from the current FPCB sensor in order to provide better 3D Touch user experience, as a film sensor offers higher sensitivity. However, we note that the technical challenges of facial recognition include: (1) algorithms; (2) hardware design; and (3) the build-out of a database for verification and authentication, which could be time consuming. As such, before Apple can fully replace the fingerprint system with facial recognition, a combination of the two steps of bio-recognition could be a valid solution for enhancing transactions security.
