Come annunciato in un tweet di Geoff Keighley, Square-Enix mostrerà ai The Game Awards di questa settimana nuovi particolari di NieR Replicant 1.22474487139…, la rimasterizzazione del titolo di Nier uscito nel 2010 che arriverà su PlayStation 4 e PlayStation 5 il 23 aprile 2020. Durante il Tokyo Game Show di quest'anno, la società nipponica ha rilasciato un nuovo trailer insieme ad alcuni dettagli inediti. Da allora, non è trapelata più alcuna notizia, se non qualche screenshot di gioco, motivo per il quale i fan non vedono l'ora di scoprire ulteriori nuovi elementi del gameplay.
