PlayStation 5, presentazione a febbraio: conferma dal papà di God of War

Sembra assurdo, eppure il leak più importante degli ultimi mesi – relativo alla presentazione di PlayStation 5 – arriva proprio da uno dei più prestigiosi studi interni di Sony. Le voci insistenti sul reveal della prossima console al PlayStation Meeting di febbraio vengono – anche se in maniera sarcastica – confermate da David Jaffe, papà di God of War, che ricollegandosi all'assenza di Sony all'E3 2020 ha scritto vari tweet che, pur puntando il dito contro la compagnia nipponica, fomentano l'hype.

“Il segreto peggio mantenuto nell'industria videoludica”, scrive Jaffe, convinto che PlayStation 5 sarà “svelata a febbraio esattamente come è stato fatto con PlayStation 4“. Con altri tweet si parla di come questo reveal avverrà tra meno di quattro settimane per contrastare l'attuale dominio mediatico di Microsoft e di succose informazioni su nuovi videogiochi svelate sullo stesso palcoscenico. Ad avvalorare la tesi di annuncio imminente, persino il canale social di PlayStation Europe ha cambiato slogan in It's time to play. Non ci resta che aspettare il PlayStation Meeting per notizie ufficiali al 100%, ma il leak è ormai da considerarsi perlopiù veritiero.

PS5 reveal is less than 4 weeks away. Sony knows hard core gamers are hanging on every scrap of info and know that just cause MSFT dominates the conversation at the moment, that's an easy thing to change when they are ready to reveal (assuming the reveal is good).
