PC Games Discounted in New DRM-Free Sale

The Witcher developer CD Projekt's PC store GOG has launched a new sale. The fourth annual Insomnia Sale, as it's called, returns this week, offering discounts on a range of DRM-free games.

The current deal is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for just $25. This is the lowest price ever offered for the celebrated open-world role-playing game. Head to GOG's website here to place an order.

It's called the Insomnia Sale because only one game is discounted at a time and there are only limited quantities available. To see all of the deals, you'd have to never sleep.

At press time, there are only 32 copies of The Witcher 3 left. After supply runs out, another game will be added and so on and so forth. While we don't know exactly what games are coming, GOG said some of the featured titles will be games "never seen before on GOG."

If you missed out on The Witcher 3, or other games discounted in the sale, you may find some comforting in knowing that GOG said it's "likely" that Insomnia Sale titles will be discounted again later in the sale.

GOG, because "we're not entirely sadistic," has also announced that if you buy 10 games during the Insomnia Sale, you will get a random extra game completely free.
