How PS4 Pro Stacks Up
The PS4 Pro is the latest in the Sony's line of PS4 consoles and is much more powerful than its predecessor. It sports a higher-powered GPU, 4K resolution support, greater energy efficiency, and reduced fan volume. The console is set to launch in most markets on November 15 for $399/399 Euros/359 GBP. We recently got our hands on a unit and have taken photographs to show what it looks like up close compared to other consoles.

PS4 Pro vs. PS4 Slim
Physical Differences from PS4 Slim:
PS4 Pro dimensions are 29.5cm x 5.5cm x 32.7cm compared to PS4 Slim's 25.4cm x 5.1cm x 30.5cm.
PS4 Pro weighs 7.3 pounds compared to PS4 Slim's 4.6 pounds.
Sports a more powerful GPU than PS4 Slim, allowing for higher quality visuals.
Can output up to 4K, while PS4 Slim can only output up to 1080p.
Includes an optical port.
Only comes in a 1 TB model, while PS4 Slim comes in 500 GB and 1 TB models.

PS4 Pro can output both 4K and HDR visuals. Xbox One S can display 4K, but only for video and blu-ray (game visuals are upscaled).
Xbox One S comes in 500 GB and 1 TB models, while PS4 Pro only comes in a 1 TB model.
PS4 Pro doesn't have a 4K disc drive.
